abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the production of collagen membranes for medical purposes, in which the collagen raw materials from beef or pork collagen are mechanically freed from fat residues, treated with dilute alkalis and acids and optionally enzymes, washed thoroughly between these steps and thereby accompanying the collagen raw material Cleans impurities and processes them to obtain a collagen matrix with a dry-dry weight of about 25% by weight.
