titleOfInvention Process and apparatus for separating sulphur dioxide from gases, especially from smoke
abstract The flue gas washing system uses a washing liquid containing alkaline earth compounds. In order to avoid disruptive incrustations, it is ensured that the solid particles formed during the formation of sulfur dioxide are prevented from precipitating for a long time. The solid particles therefore circulate with the washing liquid from the washing liquid container (11) to the spray device (25) and from there back to the washing liquid container (11). The washing device has a device (49) in the washing tank for whirling up solid particles. This device consists of a stirrer (53) which is arranged on an extension of the rotor of the submersible pump (21).
