Organic fibers are made withn n n (1) organopolysiloxane which is bonded directly to silicon and has condensable groups and which, in addition to diorganosiloxane units in which the two SiC-bonded organic radicals are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, contains at least two monovalent SiC-bonded radicals with basic nitrogen,n n n (2) Organopolysiloxane with at least 3 Si-bonded water atoms per molecule andn n n (3) Impregnated catalyst for the condensation of condensable groups bonded directly to silicon, the SiC-bonded residues being present with basic nitrogen in the organopolysiloxane (1) both in monoorganosiloxane and in diorganosiloxane units. |
