titleOfInvention Process for impregnating organic fibers
abstract (1) Organopolysiloxan, das zusätzlich zu Diorganosiloxaneinheiten, worin die beiden organischen Reste einwertige Kohlenwasserstoffreste sind, je Molekül mindestens zwei einwertige SiC-gebundene organische Reste mit basischem Stickstoff enthält, (2) Organopolysiloxan mit mindestens 3 Si-gebundenen Wasserstoffatomen je Molekül und (3) Katalysator für die Kondensation von Si-gebundenen kondensationsfähigen Gruppen nimprägniert, wobei ndie SiC-gebundenen organischen Reste mit basischem Stickstoff vom Organopolysiloxan (1) in Monoorganositoxaneinheiten vorliegen nund in der wäßrigen Emulsion zusätzlich zu den vorstehend genannten Stoffen (1), (2), (3) und Emulgator (4) und gegebenenfalls weiteren Stoffenn (5) in den endständigen Einheiten je eine Si-gebundene Hydroxylgruppe aufweisendes Diorganopolysiloxan, dessen organische Reste frei von basischem Stickstoff Organic fibers become from an aqueous emulsion (1) organopolysiloxane which, in addition to diorganosiloxane units in which the two organic radicals are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, contains at least two monovalent SiC-bonded organic radicals with basic nitrogen per molecule, (2) Organopolysiloxane with at least 3 Si-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule and (3) Catalyst for the condensation of Si-bonded condensable groups impregnated, being the SiC-bound organic residues with basic nitrogen from organopolysiloxane (1) are present in monoorganositoxane units and in the aqueous emulsion in addition to the above-mentioned substances (1), (2), (3) and emulsifier (4) and optionally further substances (5) in the terminal units each have a Si-bonded hydroxyl group containing diorganopolysiloxane, the organic residues of which are free of basic nitrogen n n n Without the use of diorganopolysiloxane end-blocked by trimethylsiloxy groups, the impregnated fibers are practically not water-repellent. If increasing amounts of diorganopolysiloxane endfocked by trimethylsiloxy groups are used, the water repellency increases.n n n In addition, the impregnation according to the invention in the case of keratin, in particular wool, especially if the keratin has been pretreated with chlorine, rinsed and neutralized, prevents or reduces shrinking by felting.
