The aforementioned herbicidal derivatives correspond to formula II wherein R 'is hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 alkyl, the ammonium cation or an organic ammonium cation, R 1 ' C 1 -C 4 alkyl, R 2 'C 1 -C 4 alkyl or C 3 -C 6 cycloalkyl or R 1 'and R 2 ' together are C 4 or C 5 alkylene, M is the structural element = CH or = N, X and Y independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 alkyl or halogen or additionally if M is for = N-stands, the structural element -C (X 1 ) = C (X 2 ) -C (X 3 ) = C (X 4 ) -, wherein X 1 , X 2 , X 3 and X 4 are hydrogen or one or two of the substituents X 1 , X 2 , X 3 and X 4 are C 1 -C 4 alkyl or halogen and the others are hydrogen.
