The present invention relates to viral vectors for cloning and expressing a DNA sequence coding for a specific protein in a eukaryotic cell, characterized in that they comprise at least: - a part of the genome of a retro- virus, said part comprising at least the promoter region and the elements ensuring replication, integration in the form of a provirus, packaging of the viral genome and splicing of the viral messenger RNAs, - and a unique restriction site located downstream of the promoter region so that the DNA sequence coding for a specific protein cloned at this site is placed under the control of this promoter region. The present invention also relates to eukaryotic cells transfected with such vectors, a method of producing proteins using such cells and the proteins obtained. |
