abstract Triphendioxazine dyes of the formula With the substituent meanings given in the description, blue to reddish blue dyeings with good light and wet fastness result on cellulose and polyamide materials. The new dyes are obtained by oxidative cyclization of condensation products from appropriately substituted amines of the formula with 1,4-benzoquinones.
