abstract The present invention relates to a coronary therapeutic in the form of soft gelatin capsules which contain the active ingredient nifedipine in an organic solvent. In the prior art, however, problems had arisen with regard to the capsule size and the low nifedipine active ingredient concentration. The invention provides a remedy here by dissolving nifedipine with PVP, possibly as a coprecipitate, without glycerol in THFP and thus allowing a total capsule weight of only 162 mg, for example.
