abstract | The subject of the present invention is a device for continuously selecting fruits (2) of the same variety, as a function of the sugar content, characterized in that it comprises, in combination: - means for moving the fruits and to present them one by one in front of a station (3, 4, 14, 16) to take a carrot of pulp from each fruit; - Means (36, 37) for extracting the juice it contains from the pulp; - means (34, 34a) for analyzing the juice and for determining the sugar content and means (9) for comparing the result of each analysis with at least a predetermined threshold corresponding to the minimum sugar content below which the fruits are rejected; - Means (55, 56) for evacuating fruit whose sugar content is below said threshold; - And means (1) for directing the selected fruits to a storage or a calibration and conditioning station. |
