Novel interferon yielded in human epithelium cells, e.g., human amnion cells, and showing an extremely strong activity in human epithelium cells, and a process for preparing the same. In a broad sense, this interferon belongs to I type interferons, but it is different from the I type interferons of human leukocyte interferon and human fibroblast interferon in reactivity with antibodies. |
