BIOLOGICAL ACTIVE PRODUCT |
abstract |
In the invention, the non-aqueous extrudable composition contains at least one thermoplastic polymer in an amount of more than 20% by weight of the total composition and tobacco. The extruded biologically active product in the form of a sheet can be obtained by extruding or hot-melt molding a non-aqueous composition containing at least one thermoplastic polymer and a biologically active agent, while the sheet is soluble in the user's mouth and results in a slow release of the biologically active agent in the user's body. The delivery sheet of the biologically active agent to the user can be in the form that can be placed in contact with the user's mucosa and is characterized by an average time of dissolution lasting from 5 to 50 minutes. |
