Novel isochinoline-4,6-dione derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R1 represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl, which can be interrupted by a heteroatom or an alkyl-substituted heteroatom, R2 represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, or together with R1 can represent a cycloalkylene group, X represents a valence group, C1-C4-alkylene or phenyl, Py represents an optionally substituted 2-, 3- or 4-pyridyl radical and their physiologically tolerable salts, a process for their preparation, medicaments which contain the compounds of the formula I for the treatment of cardiac and circulatory disorders and compounds of the formula IX <IMAGE> in which R1 and R2 have the meaning given in formula I, with the proviso that R1 and R2 must not simultaneously denote methyl, as intermediates for the preparation of compounds of the formula I. |
