The invention relates to a process for the concentration of therapeutically active substances in yeast, in which, in each case in a plurality of successive phases in a nutrient or fermentation liquid containing these substances, a subsequent yeast generation, which has taken up via the metabolic circulation a part of the substances present in the nutrient or fermentation liquid, is obtained from an initial yeast generation, and in which, in each further phase following one phase, in each case the subsequent yeast generation from the preceding phase forms the initial yeast generation. It is distinguished in that the therapeutically active substances are, before the addition to the nutrient or fermentation liquid, in each case subjected to a preliminary fermentation in a separate process step, and that the fermentation product obtained in this way is added to the nutrient or fermentation liquid. |
