abstract Hair-dyeing compsns. based on oxidn. dyestuffs with usual additives contain as a coupling and developing agent 0.5-10 wt.% of a cpd. having the general formula: (in which R is H or -CO-R1 or -CO-NH-R2 or -CS-NH-R2, where R1 is an opt. substd. 1-12C hydrocarbon radical, and R2 is a 1-12C hydrocarbon radical, phenyl opt. substd. with Cl, or a cycloaliphatic gp.). Human hair is dyed blond or pale blond; light-, wash- and wear-fast. The exhaustion is good. The dyeing compsn. can be incorporated into a shampoo, esp. a shampoo cream.
