The invention relates to a process for producing a coating and binder for oral or dermal pharmaceutical forms, consisting of (a) 35-98% by weight of a copolymer consisting of radically polymerized C1 to C4 esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid and others (Meth) acrylate monomers which have functional tertiary ammonium groups and (b) 1-50% by weight of a plasticizer and 1-15% by weight of an emulsifier with an HLB value of at least 14, the components (a ), (b) and (c) with or without the addition of water and, if appropriate, with the addition of a pharmaceutical active ingredient and other customary additives, and the coating and binder are prepared by melting, pouring, spreading or spraying, characterized in that the copolymer (a) is introduced in powder form with an average particle size of 1-40 μm. |
