abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for the microbial production of L-valine, in which the dihydroxy acid synthase (ilvD) activity and / or the ilvD gene expression is increased in a microorganism. Alternatively or in combination with this, the acetohydroxy acid synthase (ilvBN) and isomeroreductase (ilvC) activity and / or the ilvBNC gene expression in a microorganism is increased. Microorganisms in which the activity of at least one enzyme which is involved in a metabolic pathway which reduces L-valine formation, is weakened or switched off are preferably used for the processes according to the invention. Thus, microorganisms with a defect mutation in the threonine dehydratase (ilvA) gene and / or with a defect mutation in one or more genes of pantothenate synthesis are preferably used in the methods according to the invention. |
