abstract The invention relates to a method for increasing the efficiency of surfactants and a method for suppressing lamellar mesophases in microemulsions. DOLLAR A According to the invention, block copolymers with a water-soluble block A and a water-insoluble part B are added to the surfactants as an additive. By using these compounds as additives, the efficiency of the surfactants can be increased significantly. Furthermore, the addition of the block copolymers suppresses the formation of undesired lamellar mesophases in microemulsions.
