abstract |
The biopsy device is operated manually or via a drive, for penetration of the bone tissue to allow removal of a biopsy sample and is made of a material which ensures a reduced object image when nuclear magnetic resonance imaging is used for examination of the bone. The biopsy device may be operated via an ultrasound or piezoelectric motor and may be made of titanium or a titanium alloy with a special surface treatment, or a plastics or ceramics material. |
