titleOfInvention Bioactive material and process for its manufacture
abstract The invention relates to a bioactive material and a method for its production. Potential applications are medical implantology, tissue engineering and biotechnology. The invention is based on a solid material surrounded by a layer of cell-secreted products. DOLLAR A The invention has for its object to provide a material for applications in medical implantology, tissue engineering and biotechnology, in which the surface for a broad class of solid materials in contact with cellular media actively mediates specific cell biological interactions. The invention also has the task of proposing an effective method for producing the bioactive material mentioned. DOLLAR A The object is achieved in that the surface layer located on the base body consists of the intact molecules and molecular fragments of non-mineralized components of the cell products and that all these components form a quasi-two-dimensional structure with a vertical extension in the sub relative to the base body surface -mum area are arranged. The method includes that for a vertical layer extension of less than 400 nm, the incubation time is a maximum of four days and that the cell product layer exposed after cell separation and adhering to the surface of the base body is brought into contact with an enzyme solution.
