The invention relates to a process for producing a crosslinked polyacrylonitrile-sulfur composite material, wherein polyacrylonitrile is reacted with sulfur and at least one crosslinking agent to form a crosslinked polyacrylonitrile-sulfur composite and the crosslinking agent at least one functional group independently selected from an ethylenically unsaturated functional group , an epoxy group and a thiirane group. Moreover, the invention relates to a crosslinked polyacrylonitrile-sulfur composite material, a cathode material, an alkali metal-sulfur cell or battery and an energy storage. |
