A process for producing high purity silicon is described. From SiO2-containing starting materials is made by Carbochlorierung SiCl4, from which the silicon of high purity is obtained in further process steps. In all process steps, no elemental silicon is supplied. This results in a particularly efficient and cost-effective procedure. |
