abstract The invention relates to a composition comprising as component (A): 10 to 97 wt .-% based on the total weight of the composition of one or more monocarboxylic acid esters of the general formula R 1 -CO-OR 2 , wherein R 1 is a saturated or unsaturated, branched or straight-chain, aliphatic group having 11 to 23 carbon atoms and R 2 is a branched or straight-chain aliphatic, a cycloaliphatic or aromatic group having 1 to 13 carbon atoms and the sum of the carbon atoms of the groups R 1 and R 2 is at most 30, wherein the or the monocarboxylic acid esters at a standard pressure of 101.3 kPa have a boiling point greater than 250 ° C and as component (B): 3 to 90 wt .-% based on the total weight of the composition of one or more dispersants, wherein the composition has a viscosity at 25 ° C of less than 5000 mPas. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the composition as a dispersing medium, grinding stock obtained from the composition and the use of the ground materials.
