abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 3'-fluoro-2 ', 3'-dideoxyguanosine. The method is applicable in the pharmaceutical industry and the product produced can be used as an antiviral and cancerostatic agent. According to the invention, in a transglycosidation reaction, the sugar residue of 5'-O-acetyl-3'-fluoro-3'-deoxythymidine is transferred to the tristrimethylsilyl derivative of N-high 2-palmitoylguanine under the catalytic action of trimethylsilyl triflate in acetonitrile.
