N-deacetylthiocolchicine derivatives of formula I wherein n is an integer from 0 to 8, Y is CH.sub.2.n. and when n = 1 can also be an NH group, they are antiproliferative agents which can be used in the form of a pharmaceutical composition, which also forms part of the solution, for the treatment of cancer or rheumatoid arthritis. The invention also relates to the use of a derivative of the formula I for the preparation of said pharmaceutical compositions. |
