The invention provides a porous sialon ceramic filter and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of ceramic products. A porous sialon ceramic material, comprising a base material, the base material is made of the following raw materials by weight: 20-35 parts of aluminum oxide, 5-18 parts of aluminum nitride, 35-50 parts of metal silicon, and rare earth oxides 0.01 to 15 servings. The Sialon ceramic material of the present invention uses alumina, aluminum nitride, metal silicon and rare earth oxides in specific proportions as the base material, and adds a suitable type of sintering aid, so that the Sialon ceramic forms a high-temperature glass phase during the sintering process. The sintering process plays a significant role in promoting, thereby greatly improving the oxidation resistance and porosity of the material. |
