The invention discloses a new strain Janthinbacterium sp.B9-8, and discloses a gene cluster related to the biosynthesis of violacein derived from the strain. The gene sequence includes five violacein biosynthesis pathway genes vioA, vioB, vioC, vioD, and vioE and an SD sequence, where vioE is linked to an SD sequence at the 5' end. The invention also discloses an engineering bacterium, which is obtained by introducing the gene cluster construction plasmid in the violetin synthesis pathway in Janthinbacterium sp. B9-8 into the host Escherichia coli. The engineered bacteria constructed in the present invention can be used to produce violetobactin to prepare violetobactin. The fermentation medium of the invention has simple components, low cost, simple operation and high yield, and the final yield of viologenin reaches 0.13 g/L, which can be used for industrial production. |
