A lithium ion battery cathode material modified with lithium titanium scandium phosphate and a preparation method thereof. The chemical formula of the positive electrode material of the present invention is Li[Ni x Co y Mn z Al q ]O 2 ·nLi p Sc r Ti w (PO 4 ) 3 , wherein x, y, z, n, r, p, q, w, is the number of moles, 0.8≤x<1, 0<y≤0.06, 0<z≤0.03, 0<q≤0.03, x+y+z+q=1, 3.2≤p+r+w≤3.5, 1.2≤ p≤1.8, 0.1≤r≤0.8, 1.2≤w≤1.9, 0<n≤0.05, the surface of the cathode material is uniformly coated with lithium titanium scandium phosphate. The method of the invention includes the following steps: forming a precursor by co-precipitation, and sintering with a lithium source to form a positive electrode material; uniformly dispersing the scandium source and the lithium source in an organic solvent, then adding a phosphorus source and a titanium source, and adding Li [ Nix Co y M z Al q ]O 2 , disperse uniformly to obtain a mixed liquid; stir and evaporate and vacuum dry to obtain pre-sintered powder; sinter in an oxygen atmosphere to obtain the final product. The positive electrode material obtained by the invention is assembled into a battery, and has high initial discharge capacity and excellent cycle stability. The invention has simple process and low environmental pollution, and is suitable for industrial production. |
