abstract | The invention belongs to the field of organic synthesis of medicines, and particularly relates to a preparation method of an intermediate of a medicine metoprolol for treating hypertension. The synthetic route provided by the invention is as follows: p-bromophenol reacts with methyl vinyl ether in the presence of a palladium catalyst and a phosphine ligand to generate 4- (2-methoxyvinyl) phenol; hydrogenating 4- (2-methoxyvinyl) phenol in the presence of a palladium-carbon catalyst to obtain a target product 4- (2-methoxyethyl) phenol. The method has the advantages of short reaction steps, cheap and easily-obtained raw materials, simple process, convenient operation and no need of special reaction conditions, thereby being more suitable for industrial production. |
