titleOfInvention Device for collecting vaginal secretion samples containing cervical cells
abstract The invention discloses a sample collection device. The sample collection device includes a self-sampling pad and a cell fixing container, wherein the sample collection pad includes a filter unit having a structure and material such that cells, viruses, DNA contained in vaginal secretions can be effectively adsorbed and attached to the filter unit, and can be effectively separated from the filter unit in a cell preservation solution after the filter unit is removed and placed in the cell preservation solution. Thus, the filter unit comprises at least one adsorbent layer, which is formed by a hydrophobic material having a low fineness and a high elasticity.
