A new family of high charge density crystalline microporous metallosilicophosphates, known as SAPO-79, is synthesized. These metallosilicophosphates are represented by the empirical formula: r p+ r M m + E x PSi y O z Wherein M is an alkali metal such as potassium, R is an organoammonium cation such as diethyldimethylammonium, and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. The SAPO-79 family of materials represents a first alkali-stable phosphate-based molecular sieve having ERI topology and having catalytic properties for performing various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separation properties for separating at least one component. |
