An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal composition containing a liquid crystal compound that is excellent in storage stability when dissolved in a solvent and can suppress the occurrence of alignment defects in the liquid crystal compound. Moreover, the object of this invention is to provide the manufacturing method which can obtain the said liquid crystal composition easily. A liquid crystal composition comprising: a polymerizable liquid crystal compound (A) represented by formula (A), which has five or more ring structures in the main chain; and a polymerizable liquid crystal compound (B) represented by formula (B) ), which has more than 5 ring structures in the main chain. |
