A series of azulene-containing asymmetric squaraine small molecules, preparation methods and applications |
abstract |
The invention provides a series of preparation methods and applications of azulene-containing asymmetric squaraine small molecules. Using azulene and different charge-rich aromatic units as donors, and charge-deficient 1,3‑squarine units as acceptors, an azulene-containing donor-acceptor-donor-type asymmetric squaraine small molecule was formed. These materials have low band gaps, absorption spectra covering the visible and near-infrared regions (400-900 nm), and also have good solubility and film-forming properties. In addition, the introduction of azulene fragments is also conducive to the material to obtain deep HOMO energy levels and high mobility, which are very beneficial to the preparation of high-performance organic solar cells. |
