titleOfInvention | Noninvasive Analytical Detection System Utilizing Modulated Sources |
abstract | A system for modulating a response signal, comprising: functionalized particles that interact with a target analyte; a detector configured to detect an analyte response signal sent from a human body; a modulation source configured to modulate the analyte an analyte response signal; and a processor configured to non-invasively detect one or more target analytes by distinguishing the analyte response signal from background signals based at least in part on the modulation. The analyte response signal is related to the interaction of the target analyte and the functionalized particle. In some examples, the system can also include magnetic particles and a source of magnetic field sufficient to distribute the magnetic particles into a spatial arrangement in the human body. The analyte response signal can be distinguished from the background signal by at least partly based on the modulation of the signal due at least in part to the spatial arrangement of the magnetic particles. |
