The present invention provides a composition capable of forming a high-quality polyimide film with uniform characteristics, especially a liquid crystal aligning film, and particularly a liquid crystal aligning agent at a relatively low heat treatment temperature. The composition of the present invention is characterized in that it contains a polyimide precursor and/or a polyimide obtained by imidizing the polyimide precursor, and dissolves the polyimide precursor and /or a cyclic ketone of polyimide, the polyimide precursor is obtained by making a diamine comprising a first diamine represented by formula [1] and a second diamine represented by formula [2] The component is obtained by reacting a tetracarboxylic dianhydride component having an alicyclic structure. (R 1 and R 2 are each independently a linear or branched hydrocarbon group with 1 to 12 carbons; X is an aliphatic group with 8 to 22 carbons or a group represented by formula [2A]; n It is an integer from 1 to 4.) . |
