abstract The preparation contains a) at least one anionic dye or fluorescent whitener, b) at least one dustproofing agent, and c) at least one compound which acts as an anionic hydrotrope and is not an anionic surfactant, and/or at least one anionic surfactant as solubilising agent. The dustproofing agent used can be a mono-, di- or trihaloalkane having 5-30 carbon atoms or such a compound based on mineral oil. Examples of compounds which act as hydrotropes are aromatic or cycloaliphatic sulphonic acids or carboxylic acids. For its preparation, components b) and c) are added to the aqueous solution or dispersion of a) at a temperature of 20-95 DEG C and at a pH of 4.5-11.5, and the solid substances are then isolated by removal of water. The preparation is low-dusting, readily wettable and readily soluble in cold water and also improves the solubility of a component a) whose solubility is too low.
