abstract | The invention relates to curable compositions comprising a) at least one cationically polymerizable heterocyclic compound and b) at least one compound I, where a is 1 or 2 and each of n and q, independently of one another, is an integer from 1 to 3, M is the cation of a mono- to trivalent metal from group IVb-VIIb, VIII or Ib of the Periodic Table, m is an integer corresponding to the valency of L + q and Q is a halogen atom, L is a di- to heptavalent metal or nonmetal, R<1> is a pi-arene and R<2> is a pi-arene or the anion of a pi-arene. The compositions are suitable for producing surface coatings, pressure plates, printing plates, and printed circuits. They can be directly hot-cured, but are preferably first irradiated to give storable activated precursors, and then hot-cured. <IMAGE> |
