The invention relates to a novel crystalline form I 5-chloro-4- [3- [2- (3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl) ethyl] -N-methylamino] -propylamino] -3- [2H] -pyridazinone fumarate, process for its preparation, pharmaceutical preparations containing and using said new polymorph for the treatment of arrhythmia.
