titleOfInvention | ENTEROSOLVENT ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID TABLETS |
abstract | The present invention protects a new pharmaceutical formulation, an enterosolvent film tablet, with acetylsalicylic acid as the active ingredient having a specific release in a particular part of the gastrointestinal tract (the proximal portion of the small intestine). In this way, its irritant effect on the gastric mucosa is prevented. The specificity of the formulation is in the presence of a surfactant (hydrogenated castor oil) in the core and the coating of the tablet, which provides a better dissolution of the active principle at the site of absorption [Invention herewith explained a new pharmaceutical formulation, enterosolvent film tablets with acetylsalicylic acid as an active component, having a specific release in certain part of the alimentary canal (proximal part of the small intestine). Hereby, the irritative effect on the stomach mucosa is prevented. Specific formulation is the presence of a surface-active substance (hydrogenized castor oil) in the core and coating of a tablet that hereby provides improved solubility of the active principle exactly on absorption respectively. |
