titleOfInvention AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS IN MICROCAPSULES
abstract AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS IN MICROCAPPSULES, a process for incorporating a rapidly leaching agrochemical into microcapsules is described, comprising the steps of a) adding to a suspension of an agrochemical in a liquid a urea, thiourea or melamine-formaldehyde prepolymer or with its derivatives miscible in the liquid, and b) curing the prepolymer to obtain a crosslinked polymer surrounding the agrochemical. The invention also relates to microcapsules obtained by this process, to a composition comprising these microcapsules, and to a process for controlling unwanted pests or plant growth.
