titleOfInvention Isoelastic prosthetic filet stitch fabric
abstract The invention concerns a filet stitch fabric based on a biocompatible polymer material monofilament, said material weave defining a plurality of cells with a substantially polygonal shape. The fabric is characterised in that the weave further provides the material with a substantially balanced multidirectional dynamometric behaviour whatever the stress direction. In particular, its weave is defined by a front lap and a rear lap of yarns knitted together according to a scheme 0-1/1-2/3-4/5-4/4-3/2-1 for the rear lap and 5-4/4-3/2-1/0-1/1-2/3-4 for the front lap.
