A measuring apparatus for ion activity equipped with a hydrophobic bridge having a portion contacting a liquid-holding portion being hydrophilic. The hydrophobic bridge comprises, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of polyester, nylon, polypropylene, rayon and polyethylene and is manufactured by treating the aforementioned portion contacting a liquid-holding portion with a spreading accelerator. The spreading accelerator is, for example, at least one selected from the group consisting of a surfactant and a hydrophilic polymer. There is also provided a method for manufacturing the aforementioned measuring apparatus for ion activity, characterized in that a nonwoven fabric is joined through implanting it in a covering board. |
