The invention provides for methods of vaccinating a mammal to a selected antigen, the methods comprising administering to a mammal a vaccine composition comprising a CD40 ligand-enchanced cell, or a cytokine-coated cell, wherein the CD40 ligand-enchanced cell comprises a selected antigen and is admixed with an engineered ligand for CD40, or wherein a cytokine-coated cell comprises a selected antigen and is admixed with an engineered cytokine. |
