abstract |
A biaxially orientated polyester film laminate comprising a first polyester layer which contains two types of inert particles and has a surface roughness of 4 to 15 nm and a second polyester layer which may contain inert particles and has a surface roughness of 0.5 to 3.5 nm. The friction coefficient between the first and the second polyester layers is as small as 0.5 or less so that a roll of the film laminate shows a good guise. The film laminate may comprise a covering layer on the second polyester layer. The film laminate which further comprises a magnetic layer on the second polyester layer or on the covering layer being present on the second polyester can be used as a magnetic recording medium. |
