abstract The present invention relates to antibody-coupled beads and to a method using the antibody-coupled beads for the detection of surface antigens. The method comprises the steps of contacting antibody-coupled beads with a cell sample under suitable condition for coupling of a specific antibody with surface antigen to forming a complex; and detecting the bead-antibody-antigen complex obtained by flow cytometry as an indication of density and size of the complex.
