The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as active principles, (i) metformin optionally in the form of one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and (ii) a fibrate chosen from fenofibrate and bezafibrate, in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. These compositions are particularly suitable for the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes. |
