titleOfInvention Combinatorial method of forming cascade polymer surfaces
abstract The method of forming a surface layer on a substrate is accomplished by dendrimerizing a mixture of branched monomers on the substrate surface wherein the monomers introduce heterogeneous functionalized branches and homogeneous connectivity to the substrate. A cascade polymer coated substrate is formed consisting essentially of a substrate including a surface and at least one dendrimerized surface layer consisting of heterogeneous functionalities the layer being linked to the substrate by homogenous linkages, preferably isocyanate linkages.
