abstract |
The invention relates to a joint sealant consisting of the following: an acrylate/acrylonitrile copolymer with 2 to 8 C-atoms in the alcohol component as a binder; fatty substances as plasticisers; fillers and auxiliary agents. Epoxy stearic acid methyl esters in particular can be used as fatty substances and the acrylate/acrylonitrile copolymer can take the form of especially a butyl acrylate/acrylonitrile copolymer. The elasticity (ability to recover) of the inventive joint sealants is considerably improved as a result of the combination of the two materials and they are therefore especially suited to substrates with different heat expansion coefficients. |
