The invention relates to a method for producing carbonyl compounds from olefins and an oxidant, especially for producing acetaldehyde from ethene and oxygen. The olefin is oxidised in a reactor, and especially after the water and aldehyde have been separated off, a reaction mixture containing non-oxidised olefin is obtained. The invention is characterised in that non-oxidised olefin is at least partially separated from the other constituents, especially carbon dioxide, in a reaction mixture using a membrane technique. The recovered olefin can be reintroduced into the process. |
