Inhibition of tumor cell adhesion to type iv collagen |
abstract |
The invention provides polypeptides and peptide-conjugates and methods of their use. The polypeptide has an amino acid sequence which is a fragment of the continuous collagenous region of the major triple helical domain of the α1 chain of type IV collagen, wherein the polypeptide is in the all D-form. The peptide-conjugate includes a polypeptide fragment of the continuous collagenous region of the major triple helical domain of the α1 chain of type IV collagen covalently bonded to a non-peptide moiety. |
