abstract The invention relates to a method for reducing dioxins in a waste gas of a technical installation (1), especially a waste incineration plant or a sintering plant, at low temperatures. According to said method, a dioxin-absorbing aggregate (9) is added to the waste gas. The aggregate used acts as a catalyst for the oxidation of the dioxins at the same time. As a result, the quantity of aggregate (9) used is much less than in conventional methods for low temperature dioxin reduction.
